WE'RE FULFILLING THE GROWING GLOBAL DEMAND FOR RARE EARTH ELEMENTS AND SYNTHETIC FUELS
The world’s need for Rare Earth Elements is increasing at an exponential rate. The global desire for electric cars, digital watches, high-definition TVs, and hundreds of other state-of-the-art products has driven the demand for neodymium, scandium, cerium, terbium, praseodymium, and other rare earth elements right through the roof.
Today, most Rare Earth Elements are mined in rock quarries that can extend thousands of feet below the earth’s surface. But there is an overlooked resource often rich in these elements that is easily accessible. That is where Firepoint comes in. We’ve found an abundant resource of Rare Earth Elements literally lying on the ground.

Firepoint Energy was formed to locate and develop sites that contain Rare Earth Elements, which are vital to today’s technology.
We have identified source piles in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Kentucky, and potentially Texas. As we locate these resources, we will work to develop the methods that offer the lowest cost of extraction for these elements. It requires multiple processes to remove all of the REEs from the different waste streams.
Methods have been developed that will enable the extraction of the primary rare earth elements with minimal harm to the environment. We intend to scale the technologies to process the millions of tons of waste coal, coal, and fly ash.

Even though Firepoint Energy is a new company, the principles behind the project started in the green energy space back in 1993.
At our sites, we can also produce millions of gallons of SAF annually for airline companies. The Aluminum Oxide (AL2O3) we will mine will be delivered at a purity level exceeding 90 percent. The Rare Earth Oxides and other minerals will be extracted on-site and processed at another location, separating the individual REEs and Minerals from each other in a centralized process location in Pennsylvania.
On some sites we may also produce clean hydrogen from the acid mine drainage and energy we produce on-site.
Coal mines in the U.S. cover vast regions of our country. While some of the coal resources are more easily reached than others, all of it still faces the same environmental issues. However, there is a more efficient way. The means have been developed to transform coal into synthetic gas, which can then be converted into synthetic fuels such as jet fuel, diesel fuel, gasoline, and an assortment of other chemicals. Today, we depend on oil for the fuels we use, all the while releasing more CO2 and other toxins into the atmosphere. The gas-to-liquids process has been proven to produce a carbon-neutral fuel from a dirty source. Meanwhile, rare earth elements hide within coal, and also within the layers of earth above and below coal seams. We are interested in producing carbon neutral fuels by using off-the-shelf technologies to liberate the fly ash and process it for rare earth elements.
The Ever-Increasing Uses for Rare Earth Elements
In the mid 1990s, there were about 60,000 tons of rare earth elements mined. That number is expected to increase to over 300,000 metric tons per year within a few years. This is all due to our production of electronics, watches, electric cars, military technology, computers, lighting, batteries, and new metal alloys that are all dependent on rare earth elements. There are no signs of slowdowns within this industry, as our increasing population seeks to remain in this new evolution of technologies.
It is believed that we have barely scratched the surface for the uses of rare earth elements. However, the main problem is the dependance on foreign and sovereign nations who supply these elements for our use. Firepoint Energy seeks to bring all extraction of rare earth elements back within U.S. borders.
Firepoint Energy developing Western Pennsylvania pilot site for lithium extraction, synthetic fuel production 10/23/2024
Firepoint Energy has located an abundance of rare earth elements within multiple waste coal piles scattered across Pennsylvania.
The waste coal tested at a lab in Pennsylvania showed that the waste coal contains roughly $130 billion worth of rare earth elements and other minerals and it’s simply lying on the ground waiting to be harvested. We would build processing plants on the sites in order to eliminate any trucking or rail expenses. Using plasma gasifiers, we would convert the coal into ash and syngas. The syngas will be used to produce our on-site electricity, and millions of dollars’ worth of synthetic jet fuel annually, in addition to diesel fuel and other chemicals.
The first site we are seeking to develop has 4 million tons of waste coal containing rare earth minerals. We will also process natural gas brine water in order to extract lithium and other valuable minerals
Hydrogen for Industrial Use or Hydrogen Hubs
Our waste-coal-to-energy sites will often produce excess electrical power that we can then use to power electrolyzers, send to the grid, or use for data mining. The Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) we seem to find along with every waste coal pile we’ve seen so far can be converted into renewable hydrogen. In addition to using electolyzers, we can extract excess hydrogen from the syngas we produce for synthetic fuel production and power production. We simply add a couple of additional pieces of equipment between the gasifiers and the GTL plant and extract clean hydrogen from the syngas. You can read more at the link below.
Investor Information
Thanks to the progress we’ve been making at Firepoint Energy we have garnered interest from potential investors. Firepoint Energy is actively raising capital to implement our business plans for growth, and to initiate a public offering through a reverse merger. We are working to develop a pilot site in Tunnelton Township, Pennsylvania where we intend to process natural gas brine water in order to extract a minimum of two tons of lithium per year. We will gasify the waste coal pile on-site in order to produce synthetic aviation fuel (SAF) while simultaneously extracting rare earth minerals.
We are looking for likeminded individuals to help us achieve these goals.
